The *Golden Arrow* was never meant to fly—at least not by those who tried to silence it. When we first revealed photos of the initial prototype, our subcontractor—perhaps threatened by what we were creating—abruptly terminated our working relationship. It was, without question, a deliberate attempt to derail our efforts, much like the infamous scrapping of the original Avro Arrow itself.

They didn’t stop there. When we requested select platinum plating for the prototype, we were lied to. It wasn’t until we tested the coins under spectroscopy that the truth came out: no platinum was present. It was a calculated sabotage, designed to plant a time bomb in our credibility, one only discovered by serious collectors and experts. They hoped this project—and the memory of the Arrow—would be erased from Canadian cultural memory.

But just like the engineers, pilots, and dreamers who built the Arrow, we refused to quit.

We responded the only way we knew how—with even higher standards. We chose to plate our coins with Rhodium, an even rarer and more expensive metal than platinum. We sourced the finest electroplating solution specifically for this coin. Why? Because this coin matters. Its story matters. And we owe it to those who risked everything to build the real Arrow.

Each Golden Arrow is lovingly hand-crafted in Alberta by Canadian artist and Beaverworks Mint founder, Joseph E.M. Green. Every coin undergoes intense scrutiny to meet uncompromising standards of beauty, symbolism, and meaning. And thanks to our fully in-house minting capabilities, if anything needs reworking, we can turn it around in under an hour—no delays, no excuses, no compromises.

This coin carries a symbolic weight of 2.01 troy ounces, commemorating RL-201, the first Arrow to fly. It is select Rhodium plated, using fine gold sourced from the Royal Canadian Mint, with full provenance so you can trace the bullion directly to your coin. If it isn’t flawless—it doesn’t ship. Period.

Melted, Rolled, Blanked, Polished, Struck, Plated, Printed and Engraved, all under one roof: ours. 

Every detail about this is true to form, including the font used in the aircraft lettering. Every coin will have their own unique serial number like every unique aircraft. This is our statement of triumph told through the Arrow, Fine Gold, Rhodium, Lasers and Ink..
