We were approached by Bert’s Electric, a company in British Columbia to produce a limited edition run of 100 fine silver coin awards to present to outstanding employees. This gave Beaverworks the opportunity to pressurise our entire system with a small run to see how it all performs and better understand the entire process. Make absolutely no mistake at all, minting is exceptionally difficult at the best of times and it doesn’t take much to ruin entire runs. We ended up having to make these a number of times due to errors which crept in which we were unaware of that it even existed. This allowed us to further deepen our knowledge and expertise which in turn we applied directly into further enhancing the overall quality of this coin. The company was an absolute joy to work with, they personify class and grace and it was a true honour to produce this for them. We were responsible for the design of the coin based on their current logo and the flag of British Columbia as a reference point of inspiration to depart from. We ensured that we drilled down as far as possible in terms of the design and sculpt and optimised the depth of the engraving to ensure we ended up delivering outstanding quality that matches the character of the firm. We of course used .9999 Fine Silver refined by the Royal Canadian Mint.
